I wanted to suggest a feature that would significantly improve workflow and usability, particularly for agencies in the UK.
At the moment, the system is built around agents selecting a date and time at the point of booking. While this works well in many cases, we have large clients who prefer us to handle scheduling directly with the homeowner.
For example, one of our clients is sending 40+ orders per month, but instead of booking through the system, they are currently emailing us the details. We then manually create each job in Spiro and schedule it ourselves. This creates unnecessary admin, increases the risk of errors, and makes it harder to manage volume efficiently.
Suggested Solution
It would be extremely helpful to introduce either:
A “Schedule for Me” option at checkout
Agent submits job without selecting a date/time
Job is automatically placed into a “Pending Scheduling” queue
We then contact the homeowner and confirm the appointment
or
A separate workflow / booking type for specific agents
Allow different scheduling settings per client
Some agents can continue using self-booking
Others can submit jobs without scheduling
Ideal Workflow
Agent submits job,
Job appears in “Needs Scheduling” / “Pending Schedule” tab
We contact homeowner
We assign date/time
Job moves to confirmed schedule
This would make a huge difference to our day-to-day operations and allow us to manage larger clients much more efficiently within the platform.
Happy to provide more detail or examples if helpful.
Thanks,
Dan
