I think it's safe to sqy most of us don't create tasks from scratch on a daily basis. It might be very helpful to have a wizard system, ideally using some kind of templates that you guys create, or maybe we can create as well, to walk us through the process of correctly setting up a new task.
An example might be "set up a task to send a follow up email two days after an appointment"
Or "set up a task to integrate a new editor"
Or whatever. Have it walk us through the process, asking the core info on what we need.
A good model for how this type of system works might be the IFTT app (if this, then that" which creates tasks connecting disparate systems.
