True à la carte option

It seems to me that it would be really nice to have the realtor be able to have a true à la carte option. My realtor wants to select two items, but can’t. This seems far from the customary concept of an order page and shopping cart. When I tried to create an order, it felt like my hands were tied. I wanted to select more things, but was being prompted to enter details.
For my realtor friend it was frustrating as well. Making a custom bundle for every deviation doesn’t really sound like the ticket either. If i’m off base here please let me know.
